You must make your resent felt. beginning of the semester s a good time for you to talk to your prof or lecturer on their expectation. Even you are building up your communication skill, but in the begiinig you canb compensate that shortfall of yours through submission of written reports, journal etc. They would appreciate more as they can really gauge your true potential.
